Apple Picking on Labor Day

Monday for Labor Day, Dave, Kaitlynn, MawMaw and I went to Eckert's for the Barnyard Olympics. We didn't see the Barnyard Olympics, but had a great time in the Country Store (sampling foods and apple cider), eating lunch, riding the tractor to the apple fields, picking apples (and eating them), playing in the kid's area (feeding the goats, petting the Wallaby and camel, riding the pony, playing putt putt and bouncing) and eating custard. I didn't get to enjoy the custard because I started feeling really bad and we had to call it a day. But all in all, we had a good day.

  2. Picking apples is such a great memory maker! Not to mention all the yummy things to make with the apples we bring home. Some of our best memories were picking apples, or blueberries, or strawberries, or...!
Thanks for sharing the great pictures!
