Disney on Ice presents Treasure Trove Review

Last night we attended opening night of Disney on Ice presents Treasure Trove. First we got invited to attend a Meet and Greet.  We met and got our picture taken with Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse! James loved meeting them.  Kaitlynn, on the other hand, is not so fond of costumed characters.  Thankfully she obliged us for a picture.

The show, as always, was amazing.  We just love the Disney on Ice shows.  The show started with exercising with The Incredibles. How fun! The white rabbit and Alice in Wonderland made an appearance.  Of course it wouldn't be complete without the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the Queen of Hearts and her cards. James was having a ball and loving the music and characters.  Kaitlynn wasn't fond of the Queen of Hearts, but enjoyed Alice, the white rabbit, the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.  Captain Hook, the alligator, Peter Pan, the lost boys, Tinker Bell and Wendy performed next.  Peter Pan and Tinker Bell make quite an entrance! Lion King was an amazing performance! Simba, Nala, Pumbaa, Timon and all the other great characters.  Pumbaa was James' favorite. The Seven Dwarfs "hi-hoed" onto the ice as well as Snow White.  Aladdin brought the Genie out of the lamp and the beautiful Jasmine was perched atop the castle. The magic carpet ride was magical.  Sabastian brought Ariel, the Litttle Mermaid out.  Rapunzel and Flynn Rider watched the laterns glow. Tiana and her prince performed a jazzy New Orleans number. The finale was my favorite.  All nine princesses and their princes came out for a last dance and of course there were fireworks!

You still have time to see this show sure to leave you with wonderful memories.  It is at Chaifetz Arena until September 23rd. Tickets start at just $13. Use code FFA12, to save $5 on select Disney On Ice tickets online at This discount is valid on $19 and $13 tickets only.

*As a FFA, I received complimentary tickets to this show. This in no way influenced my review of the show.  This review is my own personal opinion.
